Number Of Ingredients 20

1 teaspoon Chili Powder
1 teaspoon Light Brown Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
1/4 teaspoon Lemon Pepper Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Dry Mustard
1/4 teaspoon Crushed Dry Thyme
1/8 teaspoon Ground Ginger
3 pound Boneless Pork Loin Roast, trimmed of all fat
1/2 cup Water
1/2 teaspoon Liquid Smoke
1 cup Ketchup
1 Small Yellow Onion, minced
2 Large Garlic Clove
2 tablespoons Light Brown Sugar
2 tablespoons Cider Vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 teaspoon Prepared Horseradish
1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
1/8 teaspoon Crushed Dried Rosemary

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the dry rub ingredients. Rub into both sides of the pork roast.
  • Place a wire rack in the bottom of a 3 1/2-quart or larger crockery slow-cooker. Combine water and liquid smoke. Pour into slow-cooker. Place the pork roast on the wire rack. If necessary, cut pork into 2 pieces to fit. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours, or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
  • About 1 hour before serving, combine barbecue sauce ingredients in a medium saucepan. Place over medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes.
  • Lift pork roast from slow-cooker and let stand for 20 minutes. Using tongs, remove metal rack and discard any pan drippings.
  • Shred and chop the pork roast. Return pork to slow-cooker and cover with sauce. Stir well to combine. If cooking on HIGH, change setting to LOW. Cover and cook for another 30 minutes.

I've made this recipe several times and it never disappoints. The pork is always tender and juicy, and the dry rub gives it a delicious smoky flavor. I highly recommend this recipe to anyone who loves pulled pork.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover pork loin. I usually make a big batch of pulled pork and then freeze it in individual portions. When I need a quick and easy meal, I just thaw out a portion and heat it up. It's perfect for busy weeknight

I love this recipe because it's so easy to adjust to my family's taste. I like my pulled pork a little spicy, so I add some extra chili powder and cayenne pepper to the dry rub. My kids prefer it a bit milder, so I just leave out the spicy ingredient

This recipe is a keeper! The pulled pork is so versatile. I've used it in tacos, sandwiches, and even pizza. It's always a crowd-pleaser.

This recipe is a lifesaver! I'm a busy working mom and I don't have a lot of time to cook. This slow-cooker pulled pork is the perfect solution. I just throw everything in the slow cooker in the morning and dinner is ready when I get home.

I'm not usually a fan of pulled pork, but this recipe changed my mind. The pork was incredibly tender and juicy, and the dry rub gave it a wonderful caramelized crust. I'll definitely be making this again.

This is now my go-to pulled pork recipe. It's so easy to make and always turns out perfect. The dry rub is the key to the amazing flavor. I've made it for parties and potlucks, and it's always a hit.

My family loved this recipe! The pork was fall-apart tender and the dry rub gave it a delicious smoky flavor. I served it with baked beans and cornbread, and it was a perfect meal for a cold winter night.

Disappointed. The pork loin was tough and the dry rub didn't do much for it. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong. Maybe I'll try a different recipe next time.

Meh. I found this recipe to be just average. The pork was tender, but the dry rub was bland and uninspired. I wouldn't recommend this recipe unless you're looking for something basic and simple.

Not bad, but I've had better. The pork was a bit dry for my taste and the dry rub lacked some depth of flavor. I'll try it again with some adjustments to the rub.
