Slow Cooker Dirty Chai Latte image

6 cups water or milk
3/4 cup chai tea powder
Cinnamon sticks, as needed
Star anise pods, as needed
6 cups strong brewed coffee
Whipped cream, for serving
Cinnamon sticks, for garnish

Steps:

  • For the chai tea: Add the water (or milk) and chai tea powder to a slow cooker. Cook on low for 5 hours. Add some cinnamon sticks and star anise and cook for 1 hour more.
  • For the dirty chai lattes: Ladle some of the slow cooker chai into each cup of coffee. Serve with some whipped cream and a cinnamon stick for garnish.
