Time 4h10m

Yield 1 cup servings, 6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 (15 1/2 ounce) cans of hunts manwich sloppy joe sandwich sauce
6 chicken breasts
3 baking potatoes or 6 medium red potatoes, washed and cut in half and then sliced to about 1/2 inch thick
1/4 cup baby carrots, chopped

Steps:

  • Add 1 1/2 cans Sloppy Joe Mix and remaining ingredients. Cook on high 4 hours or until the chicken shreds. If you are home, turn the chicken and potatoes every hour or so if not, it is not necessary. If potatoes are not cooked you can take the chicken out and shred and continue to cook potatoes. Then return the chicken and extra sauce heat through. Serve on rolls or with crusty bread and a healthy salad.

These sloppy joes are a bit too sweet for my taste. I would reduce the amount of brown sugar next time.

I'm not a big fan of sloppy joes, but these were actually really good. The chicken was tender and the sauce was flavorful.

I've made this recipe several times now, and it's always a crowd-pleaser. The chicken is so moist and flavorful, and the sauce is the perfect blend of sweet and tangy.

These sloppy joes were a hit! The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the sauce was tangy and sweet. I served them on slider buns with coleslaw and potato chips, and everyone loved them.
