Slow Cooker Caramel Pie image

So yummy and easy! Use a small crock pot (crock-ette); that is the one called for in the recipe. Wonderful recipe for the summer - a great dessert without heating up your kitchen. This came from a recipe book included with my crock-pot (many years ago) ; Enjoy!

I'm not a huge fan of caramel, but I really enjoyed this pie. The caramel filling was not too sweet and the crust was very flaky.

I had some trouble getting the caramel filling to set properly. I think I may have cooked it for too long. But the pie still tasted good.
