SLOW-COOKED ELK PEPPER STEAK RECIPE image

Number Of Ingredients 13

2 lbs elk round steak
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1 can stewed tomatoes
2 large green pepper cut into strips
1/2 cup cold water
11/2 tablespoons cornstarch
cooked noodles or rice

Steps:

  • Cut elk round steak into strips. Mix next nine ingredients in slow cooker. Add elk meat. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hr.. Combine the cold water and cornstarch add to crockpot, cook until thickened, about 15 more minutes. Serve over noodles or rice.
