Sloppy Joe Under A Bun image

Not so sloppy but very yummy!

Number Of Ingredients 17

3/4 c chopped onion
1/2 c chopped green pepper
3/4 lb ground beef
2-21/2 c tomato sauce
2 Tbsp tomato paste
1 Tbsp salad mustard
1 tsp chili powder
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp oregano, dried
1/8 tsp black pepper
bun:
8 oz shredded cheddar
2 c bisquick
2 eggs, beaten
1 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. Brown ground beef with onion and pepper.
  • 2. Stir in remaining Sloppy joe ingredients. Pour into sprayed 13"x9" pan. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • 3. Combine Bisquick,eggs and milk just until mixed. Pour over cheese. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
