Sloppy Dogs - Ground Beef Sloppy Joes With Cheese in Hot Dog Bun image

From Disney's Magic Kitchen Cookbook. My nine-year-old son picked this for his cooking night. I eat gluten free, so just skip the bun and put the meat over salad greens (like a taco salad) for myself, since I have yet to find a gluten free bun that I like.

I'm not a big fan of hot dogs, but these sloppy dogs were really good. The sauce was flavorful and the cheese was melted perfectly.

These sloppy dogs were just okay. They weren't bad, but they weren't anything special either.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my sloppy dogs turned out really dry. I think I might have used the wrong kind of ground beef.

These sloppy dogs were way too spicy for me. I had to add a lot of sour cream to cool them down.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my sloppy dogs didn't turn out as good as I hoped. I think I might have overcooked the ground beef.

I love how versatile this recipe is. I was able to use ingredients that I already had on hand, and I was still able to make a delicious meal.
