I have made many versions of Strawberry Pie..but this is one of the easiest. Simple and delicious, served with a dollop of whipped cream..Yum!..can't get any better than that.

Steps:
- 1. In a saucepan, smash half of the chopped strawberries, in the crust; place the other half.
- 2. Bring the strawberries in the pan to a boil; over medium - high heat and stir in the sugar and cornstarch. ( Continue stirring so not to burn ) Reduce heat to medium, and continue cooking until thickened. Cool for about 10 minutes, and pour over the strawberries in the pie shell. Chill and enjoy with or without a dollop of whipped cream.
