Steps:
- Combine all of the ingredients in a medium-size saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil.
- Continue to boil the mixture until it thickens and reduces to about ½ cup, about 45 minutes.
- Strain through a fine-mesh strainer and let cool.
- Use at room temperature. Makes ½ cup.
