1/4 cup chopped green onion
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons white wine
1 teaspoon salt
fresh coarse ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried dill
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
3 French rolls, split lengthwise and toasted

Steps:

  • Saute green onions and garlic in butter until onions are tender.
  • Add shrimp, lemon juice, white wine, salt, and pepper; cook over medium heat about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in dillweed and parsley.
  • Spoon shrimp mixture over toasted rolls, serve immediately.
