Shirley Temple Ice Cream Float image

Twist on everyone's favorite soft drink. Add whipped cream and a maraschino cherry, if desired!

8 fluid ounces lemon-lime soda (such as SpriteĀ®), or more to taste
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger grenadine syrup
1 scoop vanilla ice cream, or more to taste

Steps:

  • Pour soda into a mug and mix in grenadine. Carefully add ice cream.

I'm going to try making this float with different flavors of Shirley Temple. I think a strawberry Shirley Temple would be really good.
