Steps:
- To make the Shirley Temple drink, pour a glass or drinking jar about 1/2 full of the cold soda then stir in 1 tablespoon (or more) of the syrup. To make the float, drop 2 scoops ice cream into the Shirley Temple and stir a few times to partially blend. Top with whipped cream and a cherry. Serve immediately.
