SHANDONG SAUCE image

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 chiles, finely chopped
2 spring onions, finely chopped
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. sesame oil
2 1/2 Tbsp. chicken stock
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. dry sherry
2 tsp. wine vinegar
1/2 Tbsp. red chili oil

Steps:

  • Heat a wok, then add the garlic, chiles, spring onions, sugar and sesame oil, Stir-fry for 1 minute, then add the chicken stock, salt, sherry and vinegar. Stir over med. heat until boiling, then simmer for about 20 seconds. To use: Pour the sauce over meat and finally drizzle on the red chili oil.
