Seven Layer Taco Dip image

This is a good stand-by to have at parties or to take to any function. You can always count on having an empty dish at the end of the event! I used medium salsa to make this, but you can spice it up by using a hotter version.

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 pkg taco seasoning mix
16 oz refried beans
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
16 oz sour cream
16 oz salsa
1 tomato, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 small head iceberg lettuce, shredded
6 oz sliced black olives, drained
2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. In a medium bowl, blend the taco seasoning mix and refried beans. Spread the mixture onto a large serving platter.
  • 2. Mix the sour cream and cream cheese in a medium bowl. Spread over the refried beans.
  • 3. Top the layers with salsa.
  • 4. Place a layer of tomato, green bell pepper, green onions, black olives and lettuce over the salsa.
  • 5. Garnish with shredded cheese.
