Sazon Goya Beans and Rice image

1 onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
2 (15 ounce) cans beans (black, kidney, white, pinto, mixed etc.)
2 minced garlic cloves
1 vegetable bouillon cubes (optional) or 1 chicken bouillon (optional)
1 tablespoon sazon goya knock off mixed spice (avoids MSG)
1/3 bunch chopped cilantro
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lime, cut into 8 wedges

Steps:

  • Start the rice cooking if you want to serve it over rice.
  • saute onions, garlic and peppers until tender in olive oil in a pan large enough to simmer all ingredients (about 5 minutes).
  • Add everything else except cilantro and lime wedges and simmer for 8 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
