Savory Beans image

This dish is from Camp Fire Girls Day Camp. It was so tasty, my mother continued making it through the years as a way to get me to eat veggies. My family has enjoyed it also. As the kids get older, you can spice it up a bit with onion, garlic, tomatoes, etc. Great for those days when you can't decide what to cook. Just add cornbread and you've got the whole meal.

Not a fan. I found the beans to be too mushy and the sauce to be too sweet.

These beans were just okay. I found them to be a bit bland. I think they would have been better with some additional spices.
