Sauteed Leeks and Carrots image

From The Vegetarian 5-Ingredient Gourmet, by Nava Atlas. Leeks and carrots both have a natural sweetness that mingles nicely. This is a mild and pleasant side dish, good with pasta, potatoes, and soy dishes. We loved this dish.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my dish turned out really watery. I think I may have added too much liquid.

These sautéed leeks and carrots were a hit! The flavors were perfectly balanced and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. I served them as a side dish with roasted chicken and they were the perfect accompaniment.
