SAUSAGE DIP
I use a 3-4 qt crockpot and heat on high to start...when all is mixed and creamy...lower heat to warm...other wise, if it gets cold, it is harder to scoop onto the chips. Steps:
- 1. cut cream cheese blocks into 1/4's...place in crockpot
- 2. cook sausage on stove
- 3. when sausage is done...drain and add to cream cheese
- 4. add both cans of tomatoes with chilies...stir all ingredients thouroughly
- 5. when all is mixed well and the cream cheese is a creamy texture...scoop with tortilla chips and eat
- 6. can either be served in the crockpot to stay warm or dipped up into a bowl but warning...if it gets cold it is harder to scoop
