This recipe is a great way to use up leftover sauerkraut. I had some leftover sauerkraut from a Reuben sandwich and it worked perfectly in this dish. It was a quick and easy meal that my whole family enjoyed.

I made this dish in my slow cooker. It was so easy! I just threw all the ingredients in the slow cooker and let it cook on low for 8 hours. It was perfect for a busy weeknight meal.

I am a vegetarian, so I substituted the sausage for tofu. It turned out great! The tofu absorbed the flavor of the sauerkraut and apples really well.

I made this dish exactly as the recipe said and it turned out great. The only thing I would change is to add a bit more salt and pepper. Other than that, it was perfect.

I was a bit hesitant to try this recipe because I am not a big fan of sauerkraut, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sauerkraut was not overpowering and the overall flavor of the dish was delicious.
