Sausage and Kraut Buns image

This recipe has become a regular at our church potlucks. Let's just say I'm "in trouble" if I show up at a get-together and they don't appear! For a fun dinner spin, try these sausages and kraut over mashed potatoes. -Patsy Unruh, Perryton, Texas

I'm not a big fan of kraut, but I loved these buns! The sausage filling was flavorful and the buns were perfectly cooked. I will definitely be making them again, but I might leave out the kraut next time.

These buns were a bit too bland for my taste. I think I would have liked them better if I had added some more spices to the sausage and kraut filling.

These buns were a bit too greasy for my taste, but the flavor was good. I think I would have liked them better if I had used a leaner sausage.
