Sauerkraut Salad image

This is from Stephanie's collection of Mom's recipes. There are others on JAP but none exactly like this one. Mom and Dad lived in Cleveland Ohio for a while when many Polish people were immigrating to the U.S. and settling there. Mom got to know some of the ladies and they exchanged recipes. I don't know that she got this...

2 c sauerkraut (any kind)
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c celery, sliced thin

This salad is not bad, but it's not my favorite. I think I prefer a more traditional sauerkraut salad.

This salad is a bit too tangy for my taste. I think I'll use less vinegar next time.
