Salted Caramel Cookies image

Are your teeth on edge craving something sweet and salty? Relax, you've found it. Here's the harmonious blend of sweet, buttery caramel with just the right touch of salty. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! These complimentary flavors are now wrapped into a slightly chewy, melt-in-your-mouth cookie!

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 stick imperial margarine
3/4 c granulated sugar
3/4 c light brown sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 1/4 c all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 pkg instant vanilla pudding (3.4oz box)
1 c kraft premium caramel bits, and additional for top of cookies
kosher salt

Steps:

  • 1. Cream together margarine, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
  • 2. Add 1 1/2 cup flour, pudding mix,salt and baking soda and mix well. Then add last 3/4 cups flour, stir until combined and add caramel bits.
  • 3. Scoop cookies by tablespoonfuls, dip in small dish of Kosher salt and place on baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Then ad one or two caramel bits to top of each cookie as desired.
  • 4. Bake at 375 degrees for 9-11 minutes. Cool on baking sheet 3 to 4 minutes, remove to wire rack to cool completely.
