1 cup butter
3 eggs
2 3/4 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon clove
1 lb seeded raisins
1 lb shelled pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add well beaten eggs and mix dry ingredients alternately.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Drop from spoon on greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, 10-12 minutes.
