I was really looking forward to trying these rum balls, but I was disappointed. They were too sweet and the rum flavor was overpowering.

This was my first time making rum balls and they didn't turn out as well as I hoped. The chocolate coating was too thick and the rum filling was too runny. I'll have to try again.

I'm trying to eat healthier, so I made a few substitutions to this recipe. I used whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour, and I used honey instead of sugar. The rum balls were still delicious!
