This is a good recipe for sweet potatoes. Its very different than the marshmallow sweet potato casserole that everyone makes. The addition of the red hots make the color pretty and adds just a bit of zip.

- 1. Combine all ingredients, except food coloring, in a buttered crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours. Add food coloring, if desired, about 20-30 minutes before cooking is complete. Serve hot.
