Ronzoni Baked Ziti image

Number Of Ingredients 9

8 ounces Ronzoni® Ziti
1 pound ground beef
24 ounce 1 jar pasta sauce
15 ounces Ricotta cheese
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350ºF. Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
  • 2. Meanwhile, in large skillet over medium heat, brown meat until thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir in pasta sauce; simmer 10 minutes.
  • 3. In small bowl, stir together ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese and seasonings; set aside.
  • 4. Toss hot cooked pasta with meat sauce.
  • 5. In a 13x9x2-inch baking dish, spoon one-half pasta mixture; spread cheese mixture over top. Layer with remaining pasta; sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • 6. Cover loosely with foil; bake 25 minutes. Remove foil; bake 5 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
