This is one of my son's--who is very picky even at age 21!--favorite snacks. I use any kind of apple I happen to have but we prefer macintosh or haralson.

Steps:
- 1. Grease 9 X 13 pan. Preheat oven to 325.
- 2. Cream together butter and sugars. Add remaining ingredients. Sprinkle topping over batter. (Stick a toothpick or tester down into top in several places so it won't just form a crust and not bake through.)
- 3. Bake 35-40 minutes.
