Time 50m

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 1/4 lb red potatoes
1/2 c sour cream
1 Tbsp steak seasoning blend
1 1/3 c whipping cream
5 oz butter
fresh chives, for garnish

Steps:

  • 1. Wash potatoes to remove dirt.

  • 3. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a heavy gauged sauce pot over a medium heat. Add and blend in the whipping cream. Remove from the heat and reserve.
  • 4. With the mixer on low speed, gradually add the butter-cream liquid to incorporate.

I'm not a big fan of mashed potatoes, but these were actually pretty good. I liked the red color and the flavor was nice.

Overall, I thought these mashed potatoes were just okay. They weren't bad, but they weren't anything special either.

The potatoes were a little dry. I think I didn't add enough milk.

These mashed potatoes were a little bland for my taste. I think I'll add more herbs and spices next time.
