This stew was a bit too spicy for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. I would make it again, but I would use less chili powder.

I'm not a huge fan of ham, but I really enjoyed this stew. The barley and vegetables were cooked perfectly and the broth was very flavorful. I would definitely make this again, even without the ham.

This stew was a bit bland for my taste. I added some extra salt and pepper and it was much better. I also think it would have been better with some more vegetables. Overall, it was a decent stew, but I probably wouldn't make it again.
