Quick Kale and Turmeric Smoothie image

This is a quick meal replacement, detox vitamin-packed drink. You will love it!

6 ice cubes
1 cup almond milk
1 banana
3 leaves kale, large stems discarded, leaves chopped
¼ cup flax seed meal
2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
2 tablespoons chopped fresh turmeric root
1 tablespoon almond butter
¼ teaspoon stevia
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Blend ice cubes, almond milk, banana, kale, flax seed meal, ginger, turmeric root, almond butter, stevia powder, cayenne pepper, and ground black pepper together in a blender until smooth.
