Quick, Easy, Delicious, Brunswick Stew image

I originally saw the basic recipe in a Southern Living Magazine Cookbook and added my own ingredients to fine tune the flavors. It is really as close as you can get to the real thing. This is a hearty meal in itself or serve with cornbread and a salad and everyone will think you have been cooking for hours. You wont be disappointed.

This stew is a bit spicy for my taste. I would recommend using less cayenne pepper if you don't like spicy food.

I'm not a big fan of okra, but I actually liked it in this stew. It added a nice texture and flavor.

I was really disappointed with this stew. The flavor was terrible and the meat was tough. I would not recommend this recipe.

This stew is just okay. It's not bad, but it's not the best I've ever had. The flavor is a bit bland and the vegetables are a bit overcooked.
