Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line your cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- 2. In an electric mixer, cream together shortening and sugar until fluffy and light in color.
- 3. Add egg, vanilla, and pumpkin.
- 4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon.
- 5. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
- 6. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
- 7. Drop dough by teaspoonful's onto parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 14-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
- 8. Cool on racks.
- 9. When cool dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
