3 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups white sugar

1 ½ teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons baking soda

I was disappointed with this recipe. The bread was dry and dense, and it didn't have much flavor. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong.
