My mother-in-law brought this recipe from Yugoslavia in the early 1900's. It was a tradition in her family to serve it for holidays and special occasions. Now it's my tradition. Family members often help roll our the dough and add the filling. -Mrs. Anthony Setta, Saegertown, Pennsylvania

I'm not a big fan of nut rolls, but this one was pretty good.

This is a decent nut roll recipe. It's not the best I've ever had, but it's not bad either.

This is a great recipe for a special occasion dessert. It's time-consuming to make, but it's worth the effort.

The nut roll was delicious! The only thing I would change is to add a little more sugar to the filling.

I've made this nut roll several times now and it's always a crowd-pleaser. The filling is rich and flavorful, and the dough is flaky and buttery.
