Even though the recipe doesn't call for these, I like to add a little garlic powder and a little bit of dried parsley flakes to my "batter". It just adds a little bit more flavor and a little bit of "pretty".

Number Of Ingredients 7

6 medium potatoes, peeled
1/3 to 1/2 c milk
1/4 c softened butter
1/4 tsp salt
dash(es) of pepper
2 eggs
butter, melted

  • 1. Cut potatoes into large pieces.

These potato pillows are the perfect comfort food. They're warm, fluffy, and cheesy. I love serving them with a side of gravy or sour cream.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my potato pillows didn't turn out as good as I hoped. They were a bit dry and crumbly.

The potato pillows were a bit bland for my taste. I think I'll try adding some more herbs and spices next time.
