Poor Mans Pizza image

This dough was lovingly prepared a day ahead. Refrigerated, dusted, kneaded, risen twice, flattened and stretched for a perfect crust. With pizza "It's the crust that's makes all the difference".

1/2 large green bell peppers, red onion
1/2 slice canadian bacon
1/2 tsp thyme, dried, & oregano
3/4 c italian style tomato sauce
1/2 lb mozzarella cheese, low-fat
1 c cheddar cheese, shredded
MADE WITH MY YUMMY YEAST BREAD DOUGH KNEADED AND ROLLED FLAT AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT TEARING.

Steps:

  • 1. Rinse & Slice veggies, and prepare Italian tomato sauce by adding dried oregano, thyme, and garlic to canned tomato sauce.
  • 2. Spread 2 Tbls sauce across bottom of pizza dough. Add sliced bell peppers, onions, pepperoni, top with liberal amt of mozzarella & sparse amt cheddar cheese.
  • 3. Bake uncovered 15-20 minutes at 425 degrees until edges are browned and cheese is bubbly. Remove let cool 5 minutes before serving.
