I'm not a fan of plum jam, but I loved these cookies. The sweetness of the jam was perfectly balanced by the tartness of the plums.

I'm allergic to nuts, so I substituted sunflower seeds for the walnuts. The cookies still turned out great.

I'm not sure what happened, but my cookies spread out too much in the oven. They still tasted good, but they didn't look as nice as the ones in the pictures.

I tried a different plum jam than the one called for in the recipe, and the cookies turned out great. I think you could use any kind of jam you like.

These cookies were a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I'll try reducing the amount of sugar next time.
