Plum - Dutch Apple Pannekoeken image

I made this satisfying, yet not too sweet treat for a friend in the hospital...She loves anything apple...I had a couple Granny Smith apples and some Plum Amazins diced dried plums...which worked great with the apples...Another bonus to this is, it's quick to put together. You would never know it, as good as it...

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 c thinly sliced, baking apples - i used granny smith
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 c dried plums - optional
2 Tbsp butter
1/3 c water
2 eggs
1/2 c bisquick baking mix

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 400 degree F. Grease a 9 inch pie plate with cooking spray.
  • 2. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Add apples & plums and toss to coat. Heat water and butter to boiling and reduce heat to low. Add bisquick and stir until mixture forms a ball; remove from heat.
  • 3. Beat in eggs one at a time and beat until smooth. Spread batter into pie plate. Arrange apples and plums on top within 1 inch of edge. Bake for 23 minutes or until puffed and edge is golden brown.
  • 4. Serve immediately.
