Mom got this recipe from a neighbor. We liked these sandwiches a lot and later even invented Taco Sloppy Joes.

Steps:
- 1. Brown meat and onion in a large skillet. Drain grease. When meat has cooked add tomato sauce and seasonings Simmer until thick. Mix in olives, mushrooms, green pepper, and cheese. Spread on buns and serve immediately. OR: Spread meat mixture in buns. Wrap each one individually in plastic wrap and store in refrigerator until ready to use. Then re-heat in microwave.
- 2. Meat mixture can be frozen. Or individually wrapped sandwiches can be kept in refrigerator for up to 3 days before re-heating. These are great for after school snacks for kids. They can heat them in microwave after school.
