Pizza Skillet Pasta image

This pizza dish is made in one pan and is ready in a matter of minutes! Add your favorite pizza toppings to make it your own and enjoy a dinner that everyone will love.

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 pound ground Italian sausage
1 onion (diced)
1 green bell pepper (diced)
2 teaspoons minced garlic
8 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
1 1/4 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
1 3/4 cups water
1 (2.5 ounce) can sliced black olives (drained)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
20 slices pepperoni
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  • In an oven proof skillet brown sausage, onion, green pepper, garlic, and sliced mushrooms over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes or until meat is cooked through; drain excess fat.
  • Add in macaroni, marinara sauce, water, and olives and cook for about 15 minutes or until macaroni is soft.
  • Top with shredded cheese and pepperoni, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 15 minutes till cheese melted and bubbly.
