Time 50m

Yield 6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 lb ground beef
2 (12 ounce) packages refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (or 3 - 7 oz. cans)
1 (15 ounce) can pizza sauce
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper (optional)
1 (3 ounce) package pepperoni slices
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese or 2 cups pizza cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cook meat over medium heat until no longer pink and drain.
  • Cut each biscuit into fourths and lay evenly in a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish or 3 quart casserole dish (if I use 3 cans of the smaller biscuits, I only cut each biscuit in half).
  • Top biscuits with pizza sauce.
  • Sprinkle ground beef over the top.
  • Layer with onions, peppers, pepperoni slices and cheese.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until cheese is nicely melted.
  • Let stand about 10 minutes for easier serving.

I would not recommend this recipe. It was a waste of time and ingredients.

This recipe is a great idea, but it needs some tweaking. The biscuits were too dry and the pizza toppings were too greasy.

I followed the recipe exactly, but the biscuits came out burnt. I'm not sure what went wrong.

The biscuits didn't rise very well, so the pizza bake was a bit dense.

I found this recipe to be a bit bland. I think it could have used more seasoning.

The biscuits were a little dry for my taste, but the pizza toppings were delicious.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover pizza toppings. I had some leftover pepperoni and mozzarella cheese, and this was the perfect way to use them up.

I'm not a big fan of biscuits, but this recipe changed my mind! The biscuits were so light and fluffy, and they paired perfectly with the savory pizza toppings.

This pizza biscuit bake was a total hit with my family! The biscuits were fluffy and golden brown, and the pizza toppings were perfectly melted and bubbly. I'll definitely be making this again.
