Pina Colada In a Cake image

Remember years ago going out to couples homes and always coming home with a recipe of something delicious you had at that party? Well, this is one of those recipes. This is full of coconut and rum and kool whip-what could be better!!!!

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/3 c dark rum
1 pkg instant coconut cream pudding
1 pkg white cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 c water
1/4 c vegetable oil

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease/flour a 13x9"pan.
  • 2. Blend all ingredients together; beat at medium speed 4 minutes. Pour into prepared pan and bake at 350 degrees 30-35 minutes or until tests done. Cool 15 minutes
  • 3. Frosting: Beat until blended: 1-8oz can crushed pineapple (with juice); 1 package instant coconut cream pudding and 1 tbsp rum. Fold in 1-9oz container Kool Whip and add in 1 c. coconut.
  • 4. Frost cake and decorate with additional coconut and cherries if desired. Refrigerate 3 hrs or overnite
