1 1/2 teaspoons dried minced onion
1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
3/4 cup cheese dip (from 15-oz jar)
2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 cups frozen bell pepper and onion stir-fry (from 1-lb bag), thawed, drained

I'm not a big fan of Philly cheesesteaks, but I thought these beef squares were pretty good. I'd definitely make them again.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my beef squares turned out really greasy. I think I used too much butter.

The recipe was easy to follow, but the beef squares turned out a little dry. I think I overcooked the steak.

These squares were a bit bland for my taste. I think I'll add some extra seasoning next time.
