Steps:
- 1. Dissolve yeast in water.
- 2. Add salt and flour to a bowl. Add dissolved yeast. Mix together.
- 3. Add some flour to the counter. Knead dough until smooth.
- 4. Cover with a cloth and let rise 15 minutes.
- 5. Divide dough into 16 portions.
- 6. Roll each piece into narrow rolls.
- 7. Shape pretzel dough.
- 8. Dip each piece in soda solution.
- 9. Sprinkle with salt.
- 10. Place on a greased cookie sheet.
- 11. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Start to watch the pretzels at 15 minutes to prevent burning.
