Pennsylvania Dutch Corn Pie image

This delicious recipe is similar to a Corn Pie which DH and I purchased at Kissel of Stauffer Hill a superb supermarket in Lancaster PA. It has the same ingredients as Chicken Corn Soup, another Pennsylvania Dutch traditional recipe.I found the recipe on another recipe site.

This recipe was a disaster! The cornbread crust was too dry and crumbly, and the filling was bland. I won't be making this again.

This Pennsylvania Dutch corn pie was a hit with my family! The cornbread crust was crispy and flavorful, and the filling was creamy and sweet. I loved the addition of bacon and corn kernels. It was a great way to use up leftover corn on the cob.
