Pecan Pie, Ma's image

Ma loved my pecan pie, and so when I found this recipe in her recipe file box in NC in July 2019, it had to be added! :) I miss having pecan pie with Ma...

Number Of Ingredients 4

12 white soda crackers, crush and add 1/2 t baking powder
1 c chopped nuts
3 egg whites, whipped until stiff, add 1 c sugar gradually
1 tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • 1. Fold egg mixture with crackers, nuts and vanilla. Pour into a greased pie pan. Bake 30 min at 350 degrees. Cool 2 hours. Top with whipped cream or topping, refrigerate 6-8 hours. Shave chocolate on top.
