Peas au Gratin image

An incredibly easy potato dish that is tasty and filling as a main course or side dish. This is the simplest version I came up with to get the kids to eat it. But you can substitute a stronger cheese, add more veggies or meat to make it heartier.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover peas. I also like to add some chopped bacon or ham for extra flavor.

Not bad! The peas were a bit overcooked for my taste, but the flavor was good. I think I'll try it again with frozen peas next time.
