PEAR/JICAMA SALAD image

1 small or 1/2 medium jicama, peeled and julienned
3 bosc or other firm, ripe pears, cleaned and julienned
8 ounces fontina, or other mild cheese, julienned
2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and Pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Place juilenned jicama, pear and chese in medium bow. Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, sugar, and salt and pepper, and then toss this dressing into the pear mixture.
