4 large onions, thinly sliced
3 pears, finely diced
2 cups crumbled blue cheese
¾ cup chopped walnuts

I'm allergic to blue cheese, so I substituted goat cheese instead. The tarts were still delicious!

The recipe called for 1/2 cup of blue cheese, but I only had 1/4 cup. The tarts were still delicious, but I think they would have been even better with the full amount of cheese.

I found that the tarts were a bit too runny. I think I would have cooked them for a few minutes longer.

I added a sprinkle of chopped walnuts to the top of the tarts before baking. They added a nice crunch and flavor.

I used a store-bought pie crust to save time. The tarts were still delicious, but I think they would have been even better with a homemade crust.

I had a hard time finding ripe pears, so I used apples instead. The tarts still turned out great!

These tarts were a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I would have preferred them with a more savory filling.

I'm not a huge fan of blue cheese, but I thought I'd give this recipe a try. I was pleasantly surprised! The blue cheese was not overpowering and the tarts were actually quite delicious.
