PEANUT BUTTER & MILK CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA BREAD image

Yield 1 loaf

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 C whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 very ripe medium bananas
3/4 C brown sugar
1/3 C natural peanut butter
1/4 C plain, nonfat yogurt
1 large egg
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 C milk chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a loaf pan and line the bottom with parchment paper. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside. In a large bowl mash bananas and mix in brown sugar, peanut butter, yogurt, egg, and vegetable oil. Stir in flour mixture and then chocolate chips. Pour into prepared loaf pan and bake 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick poked into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
